Virtual chair yoga. A gentle, accessible practice designed for all bodies and mobility levels. This virtual class invites you to experience the benefits of yoga without needing to get on the floor. Through breathwork, mindful movement, and guided relaxation, Embodied Ease helps release tension, improve circulation, and cultivate a sense of peace—all from the comfort of your chair. Whether you're looking for a practice that supports your mobility needs or simply want a softer, restorative approach to yoga, this class offers a nurturing space for you to move and breathe with ease.

Come As You Are

Clothing optional yoga. This unique and liberating practice encourages body acceptance and deep self-connection. In a supportive, non-judgmental environment, Come As You Are allows you to shed layers—both physically and emotionally—and embrace yoga as a practice of self-love and empowerment. Whether clothed or nude, you are welcome exactly as you are. This class weaves together mindful movement, breath awareness, and energy-focused practices to encourage presence, confidence, and freedom within your body. Consent, comfort, and community care are at the heart of this offering

Sound Healing

Sound Healing is a deeply restorative experience that uses instruments such as singing bowls, chimes, and vocal toning to promote relaxation, balance, and energetic alignment. I incorporate Sound Healing into all of my yoga classes, but I also offer it as a standalone experience in my Sound Healing Journey class. This class invites you to lie back, receive, and allow the healing frequencies to guide you into deep rest and renewal.

My Yoga Journey

My introduction to yoga began in my teens when my theater teacher led us through what I later discovered was a Yoga Nidra session. It was the night of a big performance, and as a lead in the musical, my nerves were sky-high. That guided relaxation was exactly what my young body, heart, and soul needed.

In my 20s, I explored different yoga styles throughout Kansas City, dipping my toes into various practices. But it wasn’t until my late 20s, after the loss of my father, that yoga truly became essential. The calming breathwork I had learned helped me navigate the depths of grief, offering me both solace and strength. Witnessing firsthand the power of this ancient practice, I threw myself into learning all I could, devouring books and wisdom passed down through generations.

By my 30s, my connection to yoga had deepened immensely, blending movement, breath, and mindfulness into my daily life. When 2020 arrived, I finally took the leap and completed my 200-hour RYT Yoga Teacher Training with Maylo Epperson & Cindy Vanderwiede. Maylo had been my regular yoga teacher for years, sharing with me the teachings of her own mentors. Through her, I immersed myself in Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Yin, and Restorative Yoga. But my curiosity didn’t stop there—I explored the ancient practice of Dinacharya (Ayurvedic self-care routines), the healing principles of Ayurveda, and the many energetic and meditative aspects of yoga.

Yoga Teacher Training was a pivotal moment in my personal and professional growth. I approach this practice with deep respect, recognizing its ancient roots and ensuring my teaching reflects the wisdom, stories, and musical beauty of Sanskrit. My classes are designed to cultivate acceptance—of the self, the body, and the journey each person is on. I integrate energy medicine techniques like tapping and breathwork, offering students tools to navigate life’s challenges with greater ease. I also love incorporating Sound Healing into all my classes, using vibrations and frequencies to enhance relaxation and healing.

One of my favorite teachings comes from the Buddha: You cannot control the first arrow of suffering, but the second one is optional. Yoga, to me, is about empowerment, self-discovery, and resilience. My mission is to continue seeking universal truths and sharing them with others in a way that honors the tradition, fosters healing, and creates an inclusive space for all.
